The Mental Health and Trauma Therapy Center is an expanding mental health practice in the Kalamazoo area. We offer treatment for a wide range of issues, including support for children, teens, and adults.  We are committed to accessible care including both in-person and telemedicine options.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Job will consist of running as close to a full time clinical case load as possible with 20-30 face-to-face client hours per week being the goal. Each employee’s caseload will vary on the size they feel comfortable with.
• Candidate will be required to do intakes as well as treatment of mental health disorders while coordinating care with any relevant professionals.
• Must be competent at intake assessment, diagnosis and treatment, rapport building and ethical use of therapeutic techniques

Qualifications and Skills

• Candidate must meet best practices and benchmarks for continued treatment and revenue production for therapists in our geographic area.
• Must have computer skills competent enough to complete electronic medical records and treatment plans.
• Candidate must have excellent clinical skills and be able to treat all DSM 5 mental health disorders in a manner consistent with ethical and proven therapy techniques as well as within realm of Candidates trainings.

As such, we offer you to make your schedule to meet your needs. All we ask is that you meet your agreed upon hours and preferably, work during peek client times (3PM-7PM)

• Employee will be furnished with their own personal room for practice – furniture (desk, couch, therapist chair, and desk chair) can be provided by us or you, however you decide, and other decorations may be picked out by you.  
• **THIS IS A INDEPENDENTLY MOTIVATED PRACTICE**** We want you to have control over your caseload and work with support from us, as needed. 
• Competitive pay split options available for discussion and based on licensure, experience, and training. 
• Clinical Licensure supervision for LLMSW Therapists is available at not cost to you. LPC supervision is not yet available but hope to have it coming soon!
• Liability insurance is NOT provided and you must provide evidence of active insurance before beginning work.
• This is considered a 1099 job where you are responsible for withholding your own taxes that are paid to the government, quarterly.

Pay: Pay split is based on level of licensure and commiserate with level of experience and training.

Work Location: In person/Telehealth

You would get an office of your own, and if you are a limited license holder, we treat you just like another part of the family. You do your own intakes, treatment planning, treatment, discharge, and anything else a fully licensed individual does.
